INSTAT released its quarterly report on the Gross Domestic Product growth, saying the sectors that mostly contributed to the country’s economic growth in the first quarter were construction with 1.95 %, trade, transport, accommodation and food services with 1.55 %, real estate businesses with 0.91 %, professional activities and administrative services increasing by 0.66%, financial and insurance activities by 0.26 %, industry, energy and water by 0.24%.

Net taxes on products contributed positively by +0.89 percentage point.

In its most recent “in-depth” review on June 15, 2022, the international rating agency Moody’s confirmed Albania’s current “B1” rating with stable perspective.
