During an electoral rally of the Parliamentary elections of May 11, in Fushë-Kruja, Rama presented the key achievements for the most important sectors and the challenges of Albania 2030 in the EU.

Initially, the prime minister focused on what has been done for Fushë-Kruja, where he highlighted the reconstruction program after the 2019 earthquake.

Rama said that, “We return to Fushë-Kruja proud for what we did in this governance mandate that is coming to an end.”

“We start precisely from the families that were affected by the devastating earthquake and that were left in the open within a few seconds”, Rama added.

The prime minister emphasized that, “In total, there are over 1100 new homes; all those families are today legitimate owners of those houses and have no obligations to anyone, much less the state”, added the prime minister.

On the other hand, the prime minister emphasized that 17 schools have been rebuilt in this area alone. /j.p/p.s./

In his remarks, the Prime Minister Rama praised the quality of the works and their pace.
“It is a great joy every time I visit the “Renaissance” neighborhood, where individual houses and apartments are taking shape day by day expected to be ready in autumn,” the Premier Rama said.

The Minister of State for Reconstruction, Arben Ahmetaj stated that, the work on the individual houses and collective residential buildings in Fushë-Kruja will be completed by September.

After being hit by the strong earthquake, one of the model neighborhoods with modern infrastructure and services near the apartments is being built in Fushë-Kruja.

“There are 124 individual houses and over 150 apartments expected to be built. The whole construction site will be closed by September,” Minister Ahmetaj said. //a.i/

In his remarks, the Prime Minister Rama said that, a residential neighborhood in Fushë Kruja is taking its final shape, just like those residential neighborhoods of the wealthy people, a new residential neighborhood built according to European parameters and standards.”

“Not only in Fushë Kruja, but also in Thumana, new neighborhoods are being built to accommodate the families affected by the earthquake. A new neighborhood is also being built in Bubq. A neighborhood where the children of Bubq, just like the children of Thumana, Fushë Kruja, will be able to grow up completely different from how their parents did. They will feel part of another Albania. Thanks to reconstruction and perseverance and the belief that we need to come out stronger from the earthquake, those children today are many steps ahead of many other children in other areas,” the Prime Minister Rama said.

“The children together with the grandparents will be able to feel part of a great transformation of this country, a mission we intend to continue by making it possible that on April 25 the united vote for the SP, to lead the entire Albanian people, to lead Albania beyond the pandemic to the pinnacle richly deserved by Albania,” he added. //a.i/

In his remarks, the Prime Minister Rama said that, “the sun is rising again for Albania and Albanians, after a terrible period”.

“The whole municipality of Kruja was at the center of a real cyclone of disaster, the horrible cyclone of the earthquake where people you knew lost their lives, people like all of us, unfortunately, were not able to face that deadly blow,” the premier Rama said.

“But we managed to resist, we insisted, we proved that in the end, human size is not measured in good days. The size of man is not measured in feasts and joys. Human size is not measured when things are going very well. Human size is measured in bad days. The size of man is measured while the ground shakes underfoot and when the man faces the strength of a great controversy. There we tested what material we were made of. There we proved what character we have. There we tried what we can do together in the face of every evil and every challenge,” the Prime Minister Rama added. //a.i/

Minister Ahmetaj said today that, “this school will be ready by July to welcome 300 students and 40 children.”

The Minister for Reconstruction said that 100% of the grants promised by donors are active today.

The works on the “Korb Muça” school and kindergarten in Nikël in Fushë-Krujë are due to be completed by July. The 9-year school and kindergarten “Korb Muça”, are part of the EU4Schools program funded by the European Commission implemented by UNDP, expected to accommodate 300 students and about 40 children, in the premises with 10 classrooms, 3 laboratories, a gym and sports fields, the psychologist’s room, built according to standards of Eurocode 8 and Building Back Better principle,” Minister Ahmetaj said.

“This is the right moment to thank the donors. 300 million euro in grants have been available. There are also three large loans in the process: French government to provide for Durrës 65 million euros. The EBRD along with the Italian government will provide a fund of 100 million euros for social housing of which 98 million euros to support Civil Protection Agency, fisheries and agriculture,” Minister Ahmetaj said. //a.i/

One of these neighborhoods is “Rilindja” (Renaissance) in Fushë Kruja, where work continues uninterruptedly for construction of hundreds of housing units to accommodate the families left homeless by the earthquake.

Prime Minister Edi Rama has published images from the construction site of the “Rilindja” neighborhood in Fushë-Kruja.

“GOOD MORNING, and with the new neighborhood of Fushë-Kruja’s Reconstruction Program which, after the tragedy of a year ago, is taking step by step the shape of a quality residential area for the families affected by the earthquake, I wish you a good day,” says Rama.

The “Rilindja” neighborhood encompassing 10 hectares will completely change the livelihoods of families set to live in this area soon, in far better conditions than those until a year ago.

The construction of this neighborhood entails 15 residential buildings with 100 apartment units in total, 128 individual houses, schools, health centers, public service offices, green areas, as well as a modern market for the local products.
