“The decisions of the Transparency Board on September 24, 2022, are based on the fluctuations in prices on the Platts Mediteran exchange, where the increase in gasoil price is attributed to the increase of two factors: 1. the exchange +31 usd a ton from September 15. 2. the dollar exchange rate from $117.2 to approximately $120. As for gasoline, the exchange rate has decreased by $26/ton, but the exchange rate of the dollar has increased by 3 lek. So for gasoline, the decrease in the stock exchange is offset by the increase in the exchange rate, therefore there is no price change,” according to the Transparency Board.

As a result, the fixed prices are as following: the retail price of the gasoil by-product of the SSH EN 590 standard should be no more than 223 ALL/liter, while the wholesale price no more than 211 ALL/liter. The retail price of the SSH EN standard gasoline by-product should be no more than 194 ALL/liter, while the wholesale price no more than 182 ALL/liter. The retail price of the gas by-product should be 78 ALL/liter retail and 66 ALL/liter wholesale for vehicles. (Note: the selling price for liquefied gas for vehicles will be the supply price at at gas stations, while at other points for family and industrial consumers the price should not include the excise duty.
