The Public Commissioners reported that today they received recommendations from IMO to appeal to the Special Appellate College the decision confirming in office of the subject of re-evaluation Laurent Fuçia, judge at the Judicial District Court of Vlora.

The Public Commissioners said that at the same time they are reviewing the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission and Recommendation of the International Monitoring Operation.

“Based on point 1, article 63, of law no. 84/2016, “On the transitional re-evaluation of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania”, Public Commissioners, within 15 days from the notification of the decision, by the Independent Qualification Commission, have the right to submit an appeal to the Special Appellate College”, reads a press release.

The Independent Qualification Commission confirmed in office on 8.3.2023, the judge of Vlora Judicial District Laurent Fuçia. /p.s./
