TIRANA, April 3 /ATA/ –By I. Vata/ – Albania will work with its international allies and partners to properly evidence and look into the crimes committed by Russian troops against Ukrainian innocent people, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Olta Xhaçka said on Sunday.

Foreign Minister called for immediate actions, vowing that in its capacity as member of the United Nations Security Council and Group of Friends (GoF) of Accountability for Ukraine, Albania is ready to work with allies and partners to investigate into Russian crimes in Ukraine.

“Appalled by the evidence of Russian army atrocities coming out of Ukraine. The images of dead civilians littering the streets of liberated Ukrainian cities, the documented stories of rape and shocking destruction of entire towns are the clearest indictment yet of the true criminal nature of the Russian regime. The world must act! As member of UNSC and GoF of Accountability for Ukraine, Albania will work with allies and partners so that these crimes are properly evidenced and investigated,” Foreign Minister Xhaçka stated.
