TIRANA, Sept 6 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama shared on Wednesday morning views from the runways of the Rinas airport, which continues to operate at full capacity as Albania sees a boom in tourism.

The images published by Rama show many planes that pick up or drop off passengers at Rinas, while this airport continues to handle a high flow of flights beyond the summer season.

Rama shared images of the runways, calling them “the flights of the New Tourist Albania.”

Albania in July recorded the highest increase in the number of air traffic passengers. The increase has been validated by the International Council of Airports, which has placed Albania in the first place with the largest increase +116%, followed by Armenia, with an increase of +70% compared to 2019.
