Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Frida Krifca, told the media after the government meeting that “today we adopted an additional fund of 200 million lek for subsidizing oil for fishery.”

“Through this fund, 203 fishing trawlers in the country will benefit an additional subsidy of 40 lek per liter for oil. This support will apply to about 5 million liters of oil consumed by fishing vessels until the end of the year,” said Krifca.

The minister pointed out that, thanks to the great work of farmers, agriculture throughout this year has shown a high stability, which is reflected in the growth of exports and agricultural production in the country.

With the additional fund of 1.2 billion ALL approved today, another 15,000 farmers and the entire fishery sector are supported with significant additional assistance.
