The Ministry of Finance and Economy published the fiscal indicators according to which the level of surplus in the first quarter of 2021 was about ALL 4.4 billion more than a year ago.

General public expenditures for the first quarter of the year are estimated at 96% of the plan of the period, while compared to the corresponding period of 2020 this item has been 8.2% higher or ALL 8.8 billion more.
According to the MoFE, customs revenues (revenues from VAT on imports, excise, customs duty and mining royalty) amounted to ALL 38.3 billion, ALL 3.5 billion or 10.1% more than Q3 2020, as well as ALL 1 billion or 2.7% more than the customs revenue plan for the quarter of 2021.

While net tax revenues ( VAT, profit tax, personal income tax, national taxes and contributions collected by the GDT), for the first quarter of 2021 amounted to 59.7 billion ALL, 1.1 billion or 1.9% more than the corresponding quarter of last year, as well as ALL 554 million, or 0.9% more than the plan of the first quarter of 2021.
