TIRANA, July 10 /ATA/ – Albania has the most promising future as a tourist destination for the German market as it has a lot on offer, said Norbert Fiebig, President of the German Travel Association (DRV) – the leading interest group of the German tourism industry located in Berlin, after his recent visit to Albania.

National Tourism Agency (NTA) shared Monday a video featuring Fiebig expressing his impressions about tourist Albania.

“At the end of a several-day visit to some of the country’s most beautiful tourist destinations, Norbert Fiebig, President of the German Travel Association, expresses his impressions about tourist Albania. Amazed by nature, archaeological sites, cuisine and the ease of accessing the rich cultural heritage of our country, Fiebig voiced enthusiasm about Albania as a tourist destination and for the continued successful collaboration to increase number of German visitors to the country,” National Tourism Agency said.

“In my view, Albania is a very interesting tourist destination for visitors who have already explored other destinations around the Mediterranean Sea. Once can see and experience something special here in Albania. They’ve launched an app called TEA, you can download on your phone and it tells you every day what’s happening culturally across the country. TEA is a must-have app. Albania is on the mind of the German travel industry, but not sufficiently to date,” Fiebig said.

He added that Albania has a lot to offer and the country has undergone incredible transformation in terms of infrastructure, accommodation and leisure industry and culinary.

Fiebig noted that Albania is a new must-see destination that has a lot on offer for visitors from all over the world.
