Prime Minister Edi Rama on Sunday took to the social media to share the Forum’s official trailer, saying that participants from 38 countries around the world will come together to Tirana to attend the International Tourism Forum FESTA, a discussion platform in collaboration with the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) that will promote Albania as the newest tourist destination in the Mediterranean.

FESTA will be a platform for a range of panels and discussions amongst policymakers, entrepreneurs, operators of hospitality and all those who contribute to the shaping of this vital industry.

High-level political officials from the Balkans and Europe, agencies and senior representatives of industries operating in the travel and tourism sector, as well as the special guests including Frans Timmermans, Executive Vice President of the European Commission for the Green Deal, are expected to attend the international event, due to be open with an official ceremony by Bettany Hughes, an English historian, author and broadcaster.

The Forum topics will focus on the current trends of sustainable travel, using insights, while exploring the transformational power of the travel industry and jointly strategise how to move forward in the road ahead.

Being among important actors who are at the forefront of the profession, will be a great networking experience among all attendees, against a background of Albanian food, culture, music, and hospitality.
