Prime Minister Edi Rama in a post on social media said that the “Sorita Farm”, one of the top 7 farms in Leskovik, receives an award at the Global Agritourism Summit in Italy, which puts Albania on the world agritourism map.

“Built among the mountainous nature, with amazing landscapes, the farm of Jeton and Ionida is the ideal place to immerse yourself in nature. They invested their emigration savings in this agro-tourism, offering tourists the perfect hospitality in their oasis”, emphasized Rama.

The “Sotira” farm, located in Leskovik of Korça, is an example of success in terms of investments in agritourism. An extraordinary tourist attraction, in the southeast of the country, the farm “Sotira” is visited by thousands of foreign tourists, producing not only economy for the family, but also tourism and employment for the locals.
The “Sotira” farm offers the perfect hospitality to tourists, who find accommodation, local culinary delights, horseback riding, camping and even “athitherapy”, an innovative method of lung oxygenation, which works through beehives.
