Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today in the social media views of this resort which he considered as a model of how leading businesses in this market become such by branding themselves every day under the framework of quality, excellent service and self-improvement through training and education.

The manager of this resort said that, “The “Fafa Group” company has been operating in the Albanian market for more than 25 years, mainly in the field of construction. In 2013, we saw a high demand from tourist operators for accommodation in Durrës. Hence, we transformed the apartments we had for sale in Durrës into hotel rooms”, she said.

The tourist season is still on. Present-day Durrës is a fixed destination and highly on demand by the European tourists who are returning for vacations year after year. Meanwhile, many tourists, accommodated in this resort, praised the coast of Durrës, the service in this resort and the food offered. They promise to return.

The focus of the company in terms of food products remains local production. A year before the start of the tourist season, the company concludes cooperation contracts with local farmers to ensure a quality product and to help local production as well. These products offer vacationers the traditional Albanian taste, which they are looking for so much.

About 8.3 million foreigners came to Albania from January to September. The high flow of foreigners this year has exceeded by almost 30% more the number of those who entered last year during the same period.

According to the data provided by the Ministry of Tourism, during the period January-August, the main weight of tourists is held by Albanians from Kosovo with 2.5 million arrivals.

The second group of foreign visitors is that of Italians with about 658 thousand entries. The third place is held by visitors from North Macedonia with 510 thousand entries, while in fourth place are tourists from Greece with 450 thousand entries. /p.s./
