Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Frida Krifca, shared this success story emphasizing that 2022 saw a fantastic progress of agricultural exports, which have reached the figure of over half a billion ALL, increasing by 15.6% in quantity and 18.1% in value.

Krifca, in conversation with Alban Zusi, the owner of the Inka company and Professor Kim from South Korea, gave an overview of the progress of this company, emphasizing that this enterprise exports protein and heparin, which are extracted from the animal by-products it collects in slaughterhouses countrywide.

“Alban is telling me that this year he has doubled the exports of the products he processes in his factory, such as proteins, animal fats, animal feed, bringing this year’s exports to the level of 3.5 million euros, eliminating the import of raw materials , which was used for the meat processing industry,” the minister said.
For his part, Zusi thanked Minister Krifca for the extraordinary and unsparing administrative support from the ministry giving the new factory the impetus to start exporting para-pharmaceuticals as soon as possible.
“I really appreciate the new approach in this ministry, to be ready and to do those things that are on the table. We want the administration to serve us quickly, a fact which we proved ourselves and thanks to this we managed to export twice to South Korea,” said Zusi.

Minister Krifca said that, during this meeting with Professor Kim, we discussed that this new cooperation experience should continue.

“Also in 2023, our focus will be on diversifying and increasing processed agricultural exports to add value and increase the income of farmers and entrepreneurs in agriculture,” said Krifca.
