TIRANA, June 24/ATA/ The government revised the state budget for 2021. According to the Normative Act published in the Official Gazette, the state budget expenditures increase by 10 billion LEKË, going from 459 billion LEKË to 469 billion LEKË.

The government will also finance the priority project of the Ministry of Defence for being equipped with drones in the amount of 1 billion LEKË, in the framework of the agreement with Turkey and measures to increase the control of the territory and national security as a whole.

The review also provided the fund of 900 million LEKË, as a specific transfer for the municipality of Tirana, for the construction of the new building of the National Theatre.

Road transport will also be financed with additional 4.8 billion LEKË, which includes the opening of new lots for the construction of the road segment “Northern Ring Tirana”, the construction of the road segment “Eagle Square-New Boulevard” and current projects of the Tirana Ring Road, which have advanced with the works on the approved budget plan for the budget year 2021.

Meanwhile, agriculture will also have a support in the IPARD II program of 1 billion LEKË.
