TIRANA, April 12 /ATA/ – By Maela Marini/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated on Friday that the French excellence is arriving in Albania opening up a new horizon of joint work with large investments in two photovoltaic parks.

In the joint press conference alongside President Macron from the Elysee Palace, Rama also thanked the President for his visit to Albania.

“Beyond the historical sense of the visit, we were left surprised by what has followed thereafter. There are projects, there are so many things taking shape. The French excellence is arriving in Albania opening up a new horizon of joint work with large investments well underway for two photovoltaic parks in the region. Meanwhile, ‘Fouquet’ signed the first contract to open the doors of a French hospitality system on the coast of Albania. It is school 42 that is opening its doors thanks to your support and exceptional personality,” said Rama.

The Prime Minister expressed his confidence that the best is yet to come.

“Today we had a meeting with the Union of Entrepreneurs of France, who have taken a lot of interest in many directions and for our part we will welcome with open arms everything that comes from France. The presence of France is not just a matter of money, it is a matter of recognition, culture, knowledge.

Having more France in Albania means having more human resources and a way to understand the world and Europe. We are pro-French because it means the standard of being pro-European. This also means embracing Europe of the future with some values that are at the heart of France and which France radiates around the world,” Rama said.

The Prime Minister went on saying that the signing of the high-level agreement between the two countries will open new doors and create new opportunities to have even more France in Albania.
“France is not merely a country that we look up to full of admiration, France is part of our history not only as a source of inspiration, but as concrete support. Thank you on behalf of the Albanians who were skeptical about France a few years ago, but today they understand that Albania has another close friend. We Albanians have a flair for loyalty that is unique even though we are not a big country. If one day you need someone to count on in the event of unprecedented trouble, suffice it to call an Albanian and he will come,” said Rama.
