The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Anila Denaj, during her official visit to Brussels, with the structures of the European Commission, held a meeting with the heads of DG AGRI (Directorate General for Agriculture and Rural Development), in the European Commission, where she outlined the ambitious objective of the government for the development of sustainable agriculture, according to European standards.

“During the visit to Brussels with the structures of the European Commission, with deputy ministers Adela Xhemali and Enio Civici, we held a meeting with the heads of DG AGRI and the General Directorate for Agriculture and Rural Development, where we discussed public policies in the service of rural development” , said Minister Denaj.

The minister emphasized that the focus is on the implementation of European integration policies and agricultural and rural development programs, with the aim of achieving national strategic objectives for reaching European standards in support of farmers and agro-processing enterprises.
Denaj highlighted the excellent cooperation with all EU structures, emphasizing that, “Albania is learning from the experience of the countries that have gone through the accession process before our country”.

“We remain engaged in delivering on all the criteria in the negotiation process, where partners have an important role”, Minister Denaj said.
