Speaking on a televised program, Rama stated, “In the hypothetical scenario where another figure from them on the field, namely ‘the owl,’ takes on the role of Albania’s representative, the country will slip back into a routine, and it will be impossible to complete the negotiations.”

Rama stated that at this moment, there is no one else outside of their group who can achieve this goal.

“This is simply a matter of the moment. I am the leader of the Socialist Party, but naturally, without the Socialist Party, I am just one person,” said the Prime Minister when asked about the SP’s slogan in these elections, “Only with Edi and the SP.”

The Prime Minister emphasized that the Socialist Party has worked hard for this day, but the current situation in Europe and the world has also worked in our favor.

“There is no other possibility, no other force or chance. It’s a matter of time, and time is short. It’s not guaranteed that the door will remain open. We know who is on the field, the players, the forces, the teams. What should I say, that it could be achieved with ‘small marshes and swamps’? It’s unlikely,” said Rama.

While providing a timeline of the progress made in the European integration process under the Socialist Party’s government, Rama stated, “We are at the table with the EU, and we can conclude the process.”

However, if there is hesitation, the Prime Minister emphasized, “That story could take an endless amount of time.”

The Prime Minister pointed out that before the Socialist Party took office, Albania had not hosted any high-level visits for at least two years.
