In the podcast “Flasim”, Prime Minister Rama remarked that he never feels fully satisfied with his achievements.

“I suffer from a sense of dissatisfaction. Those who know me personally are well aware of this. Observers from afar would scarcely believe what I am saying. The impression I project externally is very different from my true self. While I may appear to be someone who believes they know everything, in reality, I contend with persistent dissatisfaction,” Rama stated.

The Prime Minister emphasised that “he is dissatisfied with everything he does.”

“I view myself with a sense of dissatisfaction because I believe I could have done everything better,” Rama added.

On the other hand, the Prime Minister noted that, while he fights strongly for his convictions, he has also developed a mechanism for reconsidering situations.

“I am very tough in debate, as I defend my convictions ferociously. Yet I am also very open to understanding how I could do better and to recognising when the other person may be right and I may be wrong. I simply do not show it. I have always had this trait; I have always been unyielding in my determination to assert my position,” he added.

However, Rama stated that “the more time passes, the more I have developed a mechanism for reconsidering things that have happened.”
