Over 20 fire outbreaks have been extinguished or contained, with aerial operations proving critical in hard-to-reach areas, from Lura in the north to Konispol in the country’s south. In Himare and Tirana, fires have been brought under control with combined land and air efforts.

Fier (Fratar, Mallakastër): Fire fully extinguished.

Vlorë (Ploç, Maja e Paliskës): Fires suppressed with help from Canadair aircraft; minimal residual smoke under monitoring.

Berat (Konisbaltë, Galinë, Vërzhezhë): Fires under control with military and volunteer support.

Tiranë (Ibë, Bërzhitë, Mullet, Vaqarr): Multiple hotspots extinguished.

Gjirokastër (Levan, Krahës) and Korçë (Strelcë, Grace, Dishnicë): Fires extinguished and monitored.

Kukës (Dragobi): Fire under observation by local agencies.

Bulqizë (Qafë Buall): Successful evacuation of six homes, aerial and ground efforts avoided urban damage.

Mat, Ulëz, Zall Gjoçaj, Dropull: Fires localized and under control.

Firefighting efforts involved 65 fire trucks, 1,350 operational personnel, 2 Armed Forces helicopters, 2 Hungarian helicopters, and 2 Canadair aircraft provided via the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.

Authorities continue to monitor all affected zones to prevent rekindling and ensure full containment.
