TIRANA, Nov  18  /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama on Friday hosted the EU Commissioner for Crisis Management, Janez Lenarčič, on the occasion of our country’s full membership in the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.

Rama said that Albania meets all the conditions and becomes a full member of the European Civil Protection Mechanism, which means that every natural disaster that hits us is also a natural disaster for the European Union and in turn triggers the mechanism of European Union, mobilizing means, people and funds for Albania to manage the emergency.

“Today we are one step closer to the EU and the EU is one step closer to us, on a path that is becoming more common every day”, emphasized Rama.
