TIRANA, Nov 18 /ATA/ The European Commission will host the EU Enlargement Forum on Tuesday, the first event of its kind, dedicated to its priority for the period 2024–2029.

Prime Minister Edi Rama, who is currently in Brussels as part of the agenda to open the final negotiation cluster, will be part of the panel this afternoon.

The EU Enlargement Forum represents the European Commission’s principal initiative designed to elevate discussions on EU enlargement as a collective political, social, and intergenerational project.

This forum serves as a crucial platform, with special focus on reforms related to the rule of law, expanding opportunities for youth education, and fostering stability and prosperity for the broader Albanian society.

The EU Enlargement Forum aims to discuss the progress, challenges, and priorities of the European Union enlargement process, as well as the path that candidate countries must follow to achieve membership.
The forum will present the latest developments, analyze the required reforms, and outline the expectations for the upcoming phases of the process.
Under the motto “Completing the Union, Securing Our Future”, the forum will serve as a meeting point for all professionals working on one of the key priorities of the European Commission’s 2024–2029 mandate. These individuals are actively engaged in the most ambitious enlargement agenda of the past decade.

This forum provides an opportunity for political leaders from candidate countries to come together with leaders of EU member states, representatives of European institutions, integration experts, and others.
