In a statement to reporters following the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Brussels, which focused on the situation in the Western Balkan region and normalization of Kosovo-Serbia ties, Gërvalla said that she voiced Kosovo’s clear position regarding its relation with Serbia, recalling the fact that Belgrade constantly refuses to implement the February 27 agreement in Brussels and its annex at the Ohrid meeting in March 18.

Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo also focused on the country’s application to join the European Union, saying that Sweden is holding talks with the member states regarding Kosovo’s bid.

Gërvalla underlined that Sweden has demonstrated readiness to take Kosovo’s bid to join the EU forward.
