TIRANA, April 14 /ATA/ The Ambassador of Poland to Albania, Vojciech Unolt, supports our country’s accession to the European Union.

In an interview with RTSH24, the Polish ambassador praised Albania’s ambition to join the larger family and shared his optimism about the country’s EU membership by 2030.

“We are aware that Albania, including its government, politicians, and much of society, supports the country’s integration into the EU. Albania has expressed its ambition to join the EU, and Poland, within its capacity, will do its best to support Albania,” said Unolt.

“The next round of negotiations will begin soon. I believe Albania’s goal of joining the EU by 2030 is an ambitious yet attainable plan,” he emphasized.

“We hope to increase the volume of trade and cultural cooperation between the two countries. I believe we will support Albania’s integration into the EU,” said the Polish ambassador to our country.

As the Polish Cultural Week will be held for the first time in Tirana, the ambassador invites citizens not to miss this week packed with activities.

“This is Poland’s first participation in the Cultural Week. We have a performance featuring Polish folk dances, films, and activities for children. Additionally, a jazz concert will take place in both Tirana and Durrës. There will be tailored programs for young people. I hope for broad participation,” said Unolt.

From April 14 to 19, Tirana and beyond will become an open stage showcasing Polish culture in various forms and hues. Citizens will have the chance to engage in days filled with activities that highlight sensitivity, tradition, and cultural curiosity, fostering a warm atmosphere of hospitality and exchange. /j.p/sm/
