Following this event, President of Albanian Football Association Armand Duka sent a letter to his Danish counterpart Jesper Møller expressing solidarity and wishing the Danish footballer will recover as soon as possible.

Duka said that all our thoughts are with Eriksen in the hope that he will return in the field as soon as possible.

“I was shocked at the critical moment when Christian Eriksen made the whole world hold its breath because of anxiety bringing us all together in our prayers for him to recover and be back in his normal condition. I feel excited at the incredible strength he displayed in fighting for his life, returning peace to his family and all the tearful fans at the stadium and obviously to the entire football community. Today, we all stand united and in solidarity with the player, confident that the good days are definitely ahead”, it is read in Duka’s message.

Personally, and on behalf of every Albanian football fan, added Duka, I want to express my encouragement and the most sincere wish that Eriksen is recovered as soon as possible to enjoy his life and family.

“Eriksen, our thoughts are with you and we will wait for you on the green field coming as soon as possible,” said Duka in a letter to the president of the Danish Football Federation Jesper Møller./p.s./
