“While citizens of Kosovo pay an electricity price of 7.4 euros/kWh, Albanian citizens pay 11.1 euros/kWh. This is a direct consequence of the lack of transparency and abuses in the process of buying and selling energy, and circumventing the obligation to use the Energy Exchange, which has severe financial consequences for the state budget, because we buy energy at a high price and sell it cheaply. This is criminal and the direct responsibility for that rests with Minister Belinda Balluku,” Bardhi said.

He called for this scheme, which he describes as criminal, to be uncovered and punished by SPAK (the Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime).

“Any delay or inaction is a burden on poor Albanian citizens, whose cost of living increases every day due to greed to steal everything and everywhere,” he emphasized. /j.p/sm/
