Balluku held a meeting with Kosovo’s Economy Minister Artane Rizvanolli on the sidelines of the Ministerial Council of the Transport Committee that took place in Prishtina, where the Western Balkan ministers in charge of transport, and European Commission representatives discussed the extension of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) to the Western Balkans and importance of regionally coordinated projects that will help the region achieve transition to an integrated transport network and better connect the regional transport market with the EU.

“We exchanged views on measures adopted by the governments of both countries to cope with the energy crisis that has affected the whole world. I familiarized Kosovo minister with the Albanian government’s project on the floating liquefied gas terminal, inviting Kosovo to join this regional project, as well as the Skavica hydropower plant project. The two projects will have significant impact not only in Albania, but in a broader region,” Balluku said.
