Prime Minister Edi Rama shared images on social media today highlighting the reinforcement of the left embankment of the K-17 Vrinë ditch.

Rama added that this intervention ensures the uninterrupted flow of water towards the Vivar ditch, preventing the overloading of the Butrint pump station and improving the embankment’s stability. Additionally, it enables the efficient drainage of 900 hectares of agricultural land, a crucial factor for the development of the agricultural sector.

These infrastructure projects are important for the protection of agricultural lands and other assets from damage that could be caused by floods.
