According to the Institution of Public Commissioners, the decision of April 1, 2021 of the Independent Qualification Commission has been announced to the Public Commissioners today. Also today, the International Monitoring Operation presented to the Institution of Public Commissioners the recommendation to appeal the decision to the Special Appellate Panel on the three criteria of re-evaluation.

The Public Commissioners are simultaneously reviewing the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission and the recommendation of the International Monitoring Operation.

Based on point 1, article 63, of law no. 84/2016, “On the transitional re-evaluation of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania”, Public Commissioners, within 15 days from the date of notification of the decision by the Independent Qualification Commission, have the right to file an appeal with the Special Appellate Panel. //a.i/
