At a press conference, Celibashi said that “the CEC is monitoring the process and pushing it to move forward.”

“Within 1 week from the closing of the process for the result of the parties, we will announce the winning candidates. For the first phase we have achieved the target. Yet we expect to close the process in 270 polling stations and I hope we will have the result by 24:00hrs. We are monitoring the process and pushing it to move forward. The process of counting the ballots for the candidates cannot start unless the process for political parties and coalitions is closed,” he said.

Regarding the complaints, Celibashi said that “all subjects have the right to follow the appeal procedures.”

“The Electoral Code stipulates that even without a reason, the boxes of up to 10% of the centers can be opened to verify the authenticity of the tables. Whether it will be the result of an appeal process from the administrative review or otherwise, there is no legal impediment to counting for entire region,” he pointed out.
Celibashi said that ” CEC obtains full film footage of the counting process for the 92 vote count centers and these footage will help the prosecution to investigate each case.”
