“Modern settings help us a lot in the efficiency of our important activities. Personally, I am very happy with the good changes that have taken place and we, as students, feel much more motivated and with a very positive spirit to learn more,” she says.
With 300 students, 15 teachers and 7,000 residents of the direct beneficiary community, the “Charles Telford Erickson” Vocational High School is one of the 43 educational facilities completed so far in the context of the “EU4Schools” Program. Currently, work continues on the reconstruction or repair of 14 other educational facilities.

“EU4Schools” is financed by the EU with 75 million euros and implemented by UNDP Albania, which also finances 765,000 euros.
Its focus is the reconstruction or repair of 60+ educational facilities in the 11 municipalities hit the most by the devastating earthquake, benefiting around 25,000 children, students and teachers and guaranteeing the highest European standards for the learning and teaching process.
