After a long period of discussions on the 2022 budget, today the Albanian government took the decision to approve the draft budget for 2022, along with new policies and programs that will enter into force next year.

These new policies and programs that will be implemented during 2022 will directly influence the support of citizens in need.

“The economic aid program will increase by 10%. Meanwhile, there will be targeted policies for families that will benefit from the economic assistance program which will involve families with more than three children under the age of 18. We will continue to support orphans by doubling the financial assistance. Meanwhile, the amount of economic assistance for trafficked and abused women will be tripled,” Minister Manastirliu said.

“45 million USD will be allocated to help the needy through the state budget for subsidizing electricity. While there will be an increase in the salaries of medical and nursing staff by 6%,” she added. //a.i/
