According to the financial indicators of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the excise reimbursement amounted to 82 million lek during the reviewed period. The excise reimbursement was estimated at 11.3 billion lek in the third quarter of 2022.

According to the Ministry of Finance report on the fiscal indicators, the increase in fuel and cigarette imports had a significant positive impact on excise revenues.

State budget plans to collect a total of 59 billion lek from the excise duties in 2023.
