In the margins of the 59th Security Conference in Munich, Germany, Rama said in a news briefing for AA that “This tragedy is one of those things in life that finding the right words is a struggle. We express solidarity with the Turkish people and our thoughts and prayers go to all those affected by the earthquake.”

He said that Türkiye will get over this challenging situation.

“The families affected by the massive earthquake will get over this ordeal. Because when it comes to rebuilding the earthquake area, Turkey’s president and its government will do what it takes. We have experienced this in Albania and what they did was extraordinary. Of course, the earthquake and the area it struck cannot be compared to the earthquake in Albania, but I think that Türkiye has all the experience and the will power to get over this,” said Rama.
