Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu, shared images on social media of the ongoing construction work.

“At the ‘Aleksandër Moisiu’ University in Durrës, thanks to the investment from the Ministry of Education and Sports, a new faculty will be established with 45 classrooms, 15 laboratories, conference halls, sports fields, and facilities for 1,700 students and 80 professors and academic staff,” emphasized Manastirliu.

The Faculty of Vocational Studies was established by a decision of the Council of Ministers in 2006 as one of the main units of the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University (UAMD). Initially known as the Higher Vocational Education Facility, its status was changed to “Faculty of Vocational Studies” in 2010.

This Faculty aims to establish a modern and high-quality system of vocational education in the country.
