The Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, the mayor of Durrës, Emiriana Sako, as well as many tour operators, were present onThursday at the Albanian stand of this fair, to showcase the best of the city.

Kumbaro described Durrës “one of the biggest gateways to our hospitality”.

“We are here to showcase the artisanal products of Durres and the best that Durres offers. Its port is the main gate to enter Albania, otherwise known as ta gateway to hospitality. I want to thank the Durrës municipality for the dedicated calendar of cruises”, said Kumbaro.

For her part, Sako said that in Durrës there are international brands that have chosen to build their business in our country.

“This comes as a result of the friendly climate in Durrës, as a result of security, but also of the great work we have done together such as cleaning up the city, the separation of beaches and safety on the beaches. We hope that these two days will serve to reveal the values but also for the business sector, to establish as many new contacts as possible, why not to sign contracts”, said Sako.

She emphasized that the municipality is preparing for the tourist season, underlining that “this year the numbers will be higher than in 2022 and 2023”.
