The 14.5-kilometer road has preserved the old characteristic trail and identity it once had.

The construction works on this road aimed at facilitating the movement of vehicles as well as enhancing farmers’ access to markets and its connection to coastal tourism.

Major investments are being made in the reconstruction of road axes in Tepelena, turning this district into a tourist attraction for visitors coming from the southeast through Gjirokastra, the west through Tirana, or the south through Saranda.

This district famous for its delicious food is expected to be turned into a supply point for all coastal areas. //a.i/
