TIRANA, November 17/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today in the social media some fantastic views from Dry Mount in Pogradec.

“An experience above the clouds or “two skies” facing each other from Dry Mountain in Pogradec, which these days offers fantastic views of the lake where dozens of young people enjoy the unique experience of climbing the mountain, promoting this ecotourism activity that adds to the bouquet of Pogradec attractions”, wrote Rama.

The Dry Mountain is so called because it is really dry and during the winter it is covered by snow.

There are no water sources flowing from it or these are very few and also, from this mountain massif, no river or stream originates with water running throughout the year.

Dry Mountain lies to the north of Korça plain, a part of it continues even across the border. Its peak is not sharp but on the contrary, it is flat and with karst pits.

Its highest peak is “Well’s plateau” at an altitude of 2287 m above the sea level. This mountain has an extension of about 25 km from north to south and is about 8 km wide in its central part. /a.f/p.s./
