TIRANA, Jan  13 /ATA/ In the city of Lezha, work on the transformation of the promenade and the flower garden near the Drin river is set to begin on Monday.

The news was announced by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who shared images from the project for the transformation of this promenade on social media.

Rama said that “in addition to the space dedicated to citizens, the promenade will also be at the service of tourism, highlighting the values ​​of the Scanderbeg Memorial, which is located in front of it and which is one of the most important monuments in the history of Albania.”

The investment projects in Lezhë have transformed this city, enabling a new modern view and quality spaces for residents, but also for visitors.

Lying on both sides of the Drin River, surrounded by Kune and Vain lagoons, as well as by the beautiful beach of Shengjin, Lezha offers diverse natural beauty and innumerable opportunities for the development of tourism not only within its territory, but also at a close distance.
