Speaking in an online exchange with citizens, Berisha said the party’s renewal process is an imperative, already under way and set to continue in the name of Albania’s renewal.

Berisha said these activities reflect the growing support for the opposition, adding that “the avalanche of opposition is gaining strength day to day.”

“This week’s positive development was the two Renewal Forums organised by the Democratic Party in Vlora and Elbasan, which drew excellent participation, strong engagement from party structures and MPs, and featured open debates with numerous questions. These events confirm that the party’s renewal process is imperative, advancing and set to continue in the name of Albania’s renewal. They were truly remarkable activities, demonstrating that the opposition’s momentum is growing daily and will accomplish its mission,” he said.

Berisha also addressed the protests in Tirana. According to him, the demonstrations are exerting both political and moral pressure on Prime Minister Edi Rama.
