“Speculation has not been and will never be my compass. They don’t even deserve to be trifled with an answer, especially people who don’t dare to mention specific names even when they make allegations,” Basha said while speaking about the political situation.
Basha said that public interest should come first in political discourse.

“Are the Albanians benefiting after the work of the Electoral Reform Commission remained stalled, no. Did such a thing cause any harm to Albanians, yes it did. Where do the political parties stand? The Democratic Party is clear, in favor of open lists, in favor of the Diaspora vote, in favor of electronic voting and electronic counting, in favor of the equality of the vote and Albania an electoral constituency, in favor of the vetting of politicians, in favor of stripping the MPs of immunity, in favor of SPAK, in favor of fight against corruption, against crime”, he emphasized.

“The truth of the matter is that these people are not consistent in their approach. Therefore, we do not need to echo the political schizophrenia of those who call themselves the opposition. The time is short, Albanians deserve a way out and an alternative,” Basha said.
