TIRANA, Jan  20 /ATA/ – By  I. Vata/ The Democratic Party reacted Friday over the price of oil in Albania.

In a media statement, the member of the DP Leadership Eno Bozdo said that the price of fuel oil has dropped sharply all over the world during the last two months, reaching the pre-war price levels in Ukraine.

“Even before the war, Albania was the country with the most expensive oil in the region and among the most expensive in Europe. Oil in Albania, due to the very high taxation imposed by Edi Rama’s government, was more expensive than in Germany, France, Norway and many other European countries. But, in all these countries, the price of oil, after the stability of international markets, has dropped  sharply, except for Albania, where this price is soaring. “A few days ago, the Government Board decided to increase the price of oil yet again, even though this price has dropped to the pre-war levels in the international stock market,” he said.
