TIRANA, Nov 7 /ATA/ DP representatives on Parliamentary Economy Committee, Sorina Koti, Emilja Koliqi and Arbi Agalliu met with representatives of the Small Business Association, Albert Nasto and Bujar Muço

They said that, other than lending, postponement of fiscalization, a process that costs on average 1 thousand euros to each business, would be of service for the small business.

“We are not against innovation, but it is a heavy burden and time-consuming process for business. We urge its postponement and exploring the possibility for a more simple and less costly fiscalization,” the representatives of small business said to DP representatives.

They have addressed this request to the government to envisage it in the 2022 budget and fiscal package, but have not received any answer so far.

“At this pace, 65-70% of businesses risk going bankrupt,” -the president of the association Albert Nasto said, also raising concern over soaring costs due to market monopolization, starting with fuels.

DP representatives said that the rational demands of small business are a mere minimum and the government should listen to the voice of small business that sustains the economy of thousands of Albanian families.
