According to IGJEO’s hydrological assessments, several days of high-intensity rainfall – expected to continue through Sunday – will lead to increased water levels in major and mid-sized rivers, including the Mat, Shkumbin, Seman and Vjosa.

Moderate to locally heavy rainfall is forecast today and tomorrow in Shkodër, Lezhë, Durrës, Elbasan, Vlorë and Gjirokastër, while Kukës, Dibër and Tirana are expected to see moderate precipitation. Fier, Berat and Korçë are forecast to receive light to locally moderate rain. Thunderstorms are expected across the country.

Tomorrow’s temperatures are expected to range between 4-11°C along the coast, 9-11°C in lowland areas and 4-8°C in the mountains. Winds are expected to be moderate to strong, particularly along the coastline.
