TIRANA, March 10 /ATA/- By Maela Marini/ Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his visit in Shkodra, inspected several construction sites which entail infrastructural and educational interventions for the development of the city.

Prime Minister Edi Rama was accompanied in these inspections by the mayor Benet Beci as well as the Minister of State for Relations with the Parliament, Elisa Spiropali, also the political leader of the SP in the district of Shkodra.

Rama emphasized that “the time has come to build a modern tourist market for Shkodra and a dormitory up to European standards for vocational school students.”

“Come on Benet, we have to build what has not been done for 30 years on end and the government has no option but to help you as much as it can because if we do not take care of Shkodra as it deserved long ago, who else will do it,” Rama writes in his social media account.

The Prime Minister inspected the dilapidated dormitory building for vocational school students built in 1983.

Rama was informed by the mayor Beci that in 20 years no investment has been made in this building.
Beci informed that in the meantime the project for the dormitory of vocational schools has completed and the procedures are being followed before getting ready for financing.

The Prime Minister insisted on making investments in vocational schools.
Afterwards, Rama visited the premises of the “Rusi” market, a traditional market that will be modernized thanks to the investment.
