The Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, also Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, said Monday that construction of the Dobrunë-Blinisht was part of the commitments during the joint sessions of the governments of Albania and Kosovo.

According to Balluku, the new road segment improves connection and eases movement of people and goods on both sides of the border.

The village of Dobrunë lies in the municipality of Has, northeastern Albania, on the border between Albania and Kosovo. The village is located just 10 kilometers from the city of Gjakova, Kosovo, and 20 kilometers from the town of Kruma, northeastern Albania.
