According to the police, another person was prosecuted for abuse of office.

Specialists for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes prosecuted the citizens F. H., 58 years old, resident in Vlora and V. D., 39 years old resident in the village of Bunavi, Vlora.

These citizens were prosecuted because at the place called “Picari Turn”, in the bed of the river Shushica, were found several heavy vehicles of two different companies administered by them, taking inert materials (gravel) without the relevant environmental permits, intended to trade them without the relevant tax documentation.

Following the actions, the specialists for the Investigation of Economic-Financial Crimes prosecuted for the criminal offense “Abuse of office”, citizen AH, 47 years old, acting inspector of IKMT Vlora, as it is suspected that he did not perform continuous controls for monitoring of the territory.

In the framework of implementation of the plan of measures for the prevention and combating of environmental crimes, following the control exercised for the protection of the territory, in the river Shushica were found several vehicles that were digging the bed of this river.
