While today we have 30% more beneficiaries from the National Scheme, bringing the number of subsidized farmers to 65,000.
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Anila Denaj, announced that, “the Council of Ministers approved on Thursday the proposal of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for extending up to 6 months the deadline for disbursing farmers with tax-free oil for agriculture.

Denaj said that “this is very good news for all farmers who are currently receiving the oil disbursement as part of the National Scheme. We have requested a postponement by the first 6 months of 2024, for this process, which is expected to close on December 31, 2023.

Compared to a year ago, Denaj emphasized, we have an increase of almost 30% in the number of farmers benefiting from the National Scheme 2023 and a total number of beneficiaries nationwide with 65 thousand farmers.
