In his greeting speech, Basha said that for 8 years on end the development of Dibra has been held back by gangs that have ruined the household economy and caused the young people to leave the country.

He said that April 25 is the day to close the door to evil and pave the way for long-awaited change.

“I have been among you for so many years and I have always had your support, respect, kindness, but never before have I seen this square filled with hope and the smart decision of the wise Dibra people to lead the change on April 25th! Albanians, Dibra people have experienced 8 hard years! “An 8-year winter full of suffering, injustice, frustrations and unemployment, emigration driven by an economy ruined by the government and the outgoing prime minister,” said Basha.

“Together we should lead the change that Dibra and the whole of Albania look forward to. Turnaround in economy, entrepreneurship, foreign investments, in education and healthcare, for the hard-working farmer of Dibra and his products. The change you expect from me and my team, the change you deserve, Albania, a member of the European Union,” he said.
