In a post on social media, Basha said that Prime Minister Rama is not on board with our proposal for their vote, while DP is the only political force that has a concrete proposal for the vote of the Diaspora.

“Our commitment since 2016 is for immigrants to cast their vote where they live. The vote of the diaspora is not only a constitutional right, but it is the fulfillment of an obligation towards Albania and towards Albanians”, said Basha.

“Determined to make sure that the vote of our compatriots, who live in emigration, has full weight in important political decision-making,” the DP chairman concluded.
