Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Anila Denaj, said on Thursday that the govt. has adopted important changes in the Veterinary Service law aimed at improving the quality and safety of veterinary medical products, increasing the responsibility and efficiency of veterinary authorities and alignment with EU standards.

Through this law, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development takes a big step towards the modernization of veterinary services and alignment with EU standards, Denaj underlined.
The minister emphasized that the support and approval of these changes shows the government’s commitment to improving animal health and food safety in Albania.
Denaj said that this law improves the quality and safety of veterinary medical products, increases the responsibility and efficiency of veterinary authorities in Albania, as well as harmonization with international and EU standards.
